The Art of Sacred Ceremony
Deeply intentional spaces for life’s most profound thresholds.
Weddings, Handfastings & Sacred Unions
A wedding is far more than a legal contract. It is a sacred promise, a joining of two lives, two stories and two souls.
I create bespoke wedding ceremonies for couples of all beliefs, from beautifully secular celebrations to deeply spiritual, pagan, shamanic and handfasting ceremonies rooted in nature, symbolism and ancient tradition. Whether you identify as pagan, walk a shamanic path, follow a witch's practice, honour Celtic traditions, or simply long for a ceremony that feels meaningful and authentic, we'll create something that reflects who you truly are.
Together, we'll weave your love story with rituals that hold deep personal significance. This might include handfasting, smoke cleansing, ancestor acknowledgements, tree planting, seasonal blessings, crystal or elemental rituals, or a ceremony created entirely around your own beliefs, heritage and spiritual path.
When you stand together, I want you to feel more than words being spoken. I want you to experience the moment your lives become entwined, witnessed by the people you love and held within a ceremony that is heartfelt, intentional and unmistakably yours.
Every ceremony is written entirely from scratch. As both a celebrant and poet, I also gift each couple a handwritten original poem inspired by their love story, creating a lasting keepsake of the promises you've made and the day your journey together began.
Vow Renewals
Reaffirming your journey with a personalised 'love story' narrative and keepsake certificate. A beautiful opportunity to pause, reflect on the path you’ve travelled together, and consciously choose one another all over again.
This is a chance to acknowledge everything you’ve been through, the highs, the hurdles, and the quiet growth in between. We’ll look at who you were when you first said 'I do' versus who you are now, honouring the strength it took to get here. It’s a simple, powerful way to refresh your commitment and move into your next chapter with fresh intention.
Naming & Welcome Ceremonies
A beautiful, non-religious way to welcome a child or family member. We craft a warm and joyful space to introduce your new addition to your community, acknowledging the village it takes to raise a child, complete with certificates for the family and guideparents.
It’s an opportunity to gather everyone who will play a part in this person's life and officially say, 'you belong here.' We keep the atmosphere light and centred on family, focusing on the shared commitment to watch them grow. It is a simple, heart-led way to mark a new beginning and celebrate the connection that holds your family together.
Interment of Ashes
Whether it is at a graveside, a memorial garden, or a private piece of land, laying ashes to rest is the final, physical act of saying goodbye. It is often a smaller, more intimate moment than the funeral itself, and it deserves its own sense of focus.
I am here to help you handle this simply and with dignity. We’ll look at what feels appropriate for the location, whether that involves a few spoken words, a moment of silence, or a simple ritual of scattering. My role is to provide a steady presence, making sure this last step is carried out with the care and respect it deserves.
Animal Ceremonies
Our animals are part of the family, and losing them is a significant loss. Whether you are looking for a small funeral, a blessing, or a quiet way to say goodbye, I help you mark their passing in a way that feels right for the bond you shared.
As a vegan, I hold a deep respect for all living beings. I understand how profound the loss of an animal companion can be, and I offer a safe, validating space to grieve and celebrate the joy they brought into your life.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a celebrant, and how is it different from a registrar?
A celebrant focuses entirely on creating a bespoke, highly personal ceremony that reflects your unique story, beliefs, and values. Unlike a registrar, my ceremonies have no legal restrictions, meaning we can include spiritual elements, personal vows, and perform the ceremony anywhere you choose.
However, under current UK law, a celebrant-led wedding is not legally binding. To be legally married, you will need to complete a brief statutory registration at your local registry office (often referred to as 'doing the legal bit') before or after our celebration. This separates the legal contract from your actual wedding day, leaving us completely free to create the deeply meaningful, unrestricted ceremony of your dreams.
Where can we hold our ceremony?
The beauty of a celebrant-led ceremony is that there are no restrictions. You can hold your ceremony in a woodland, on a beach, in a private garden, or at an unlicensed venue. You are completely free to choose a location that means the most to you.
Do you only work in London and the South East?
While I am based in Royal Tunbridge Wells and frequently work across London and the South East, I am always happy to travel further afield if you feel I am the right person to hold your ceremony.
How far in advance should we book?
For weddings, it is usually best to get in touch 6 to 12 months in advance to secure your date, especially for the summer months. However, for funerals, memorials, and other ceremonies, I work on a much shorter timeline. Please always reach out, as I may have availability.
